Founding of the company by the Frey and Kaiser families in Esslingen near Stuttgart. From the beginning, the focus is on high-quality refrigeration technology for professional applications.
1970s
Expansion of the product range in the field of cooling and deep-freezing technology for laboratories and industry. FRYKA establishes itself as a specialist provider with its own development and production.
1972
New premises are occupied.
1975
Renaming to FRYKA-Kältetechnik GmbH.
1980s
Further development of technical solutions and expansion of production capacities at the Esslingen site. The FRYKA brand gains significance beyond the region.
1982
New construction at a different location, still in Esslingen.
1985
Expansion of the portfolio to include laboratory cooling devices such as ultra-low temperature freezers (up to -80 degrees Celsius), recirculating coolers, and other specialized solutions for laboratories and research.
1990s
Strengthening of OEM competence and expansion of individual cooling solutions. Custom-made products for machine and plant manufacturers. Close collaboration with industry partners shapes the company's profile.

Management takeover by Ralph Kaiser and Achim Kaiser.
