As a company that has it roots in the tradition-rich city of Esslingen, it is also the focus of our contribution to a functioning community. FRYKA-Kältetechnik is committed in different areas.

Community Relations

Children and young people are especially important to us, particularly those who need more support and help than others. Some of the initiatives or clubs promoted by us are listed here.

 

Swing for Charity

An evening concert for the benefit of the Red Nose Clinic Clowns Association, Team Baden-Württemberg. After 2010, with the motto „Swing for Charity - a tribute to Ray Charles“ with Madeline Bell, we also supported „Swing for Charity - An evening with Ron Williams" in 2011. The evening, successfully organised by the Round Table 164 Stuttgart Slitude (RT 164), with the Lumberjack Big Band, led by Alexander Eissele and the singer and entertainer Ron Williams, provided a variety of entertainment at the highest level. With a repertoire including soul, swing and pop music and hits by Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and highlights from the movie "Blues Brothers", as well as some instrumental pieces from the Lumberjack Big Band and not least the hospital clowns, it was an evening of high spirits and excellent music for the benefit of sick people who could well use the relief.

Pedalo

We sponsored the third edition of the Pedalo sponsors rally in favour of the Esslinger Community Foundation and the Esslingen YMCA Youth Foundation. We supported numerous drivers and our own company team who started out in high temperatures in the Esslinger industrial area of Sirnau. The purpose of the Esslinger Community Foundation is the promotion of social responsibility, civil commitment and solidary in the city of Esslingen am Neckar. The Esslingen YMCA Youth Foundation has set itself the goal of promoting children and youth work, and teaching community and relationship skills. ES-Charity

ES-Charity is a group of companies from Esslingen and the surrounding area with the aim of campaigning for children and young people from the Theodor-Rothschild house in Esslingen and making the public more aware of Esslinger youth services. For the 2010 World Cup, the first event was a "non-public viewing".

SINN - Location branding initiative Neue Neckarwiesen

FRYKA-Kältetechnik is a member of the "Standortinitiative Neue Neckarwiesen e.V." (Location branding Initiative Neue Neckarwiesen) association (SINN) and Achim Kaiser is actively involved in the goals and activities of SINN as spokesperson for the working group 'Nature and Environment'. The aim of SINN is to provide the Neckarwiesen commercial area with an attractive profile and create a positive image for the location.
